Do clothing donations have to be new?
No not at all, we accept pre-loved clothing in excellent condition, but we do ask that you wash it before it comes to us.
Do you accept furniture and baby equipment?
Unfortunately due to storage limitations and some health and safety concerns we cannot accept any furniture or items such as stair gates, bouncers, car seats etc.
I know someone who is pregnant, can I have a Moses Basket Starter pack?
We are not able to take a referral from individuals, their family or friends. However, ask them to speak to their midwife or health visitor who can make a referral directly to us.
Does all the clothing get used by you?
Sometimes we are unable to use all the donations we receive. We then pay it forward to both a local and international charity, sending anything we can’t use directly to them.
Do you charge for the clothes?
No, everything we distribute is free. We do encourage you to bring clothing swaps (items that your child has grown out of) but that’s not essential. We do have a donation piggy bank for those who like to make a contribution.
Can I bring my children with me to take a look?
Yes of course, we are happy for you to bring them and we do have a small area with some toys for them to play with whilst you stay for a cuppa. We just ask that you keep an eye on them and keep them away from the racks and kitchen area.
